in the spirit of christmas

Christmas shopping for us came in late this year. It took us quite a while and a lot of stress. For one, there are still a lot of people in the mall shopping just like us even on a weekday. And those who didn't go there to shop simply loitered and hang around just to cool off. It's awfully warm these days for a Christmas season. We didn't get to finish off our shopping list. We're only done with DK's siblings. We still have to buy stuff for half of his family and then my side. At least in my side, I know what to buy them. I actually ask them on the sly so I know what they really want to receive. But it' so hard to buy stuff for someone who you don't know personally. Honestly, I am thinking of buying them some thing edible, like pastries and wine.

SM Megamall - 2010.12.17

Luckily, the owners of SM malls know how to entertain their mall-goers. They have this beautiful Christmas-themed display where you can pose and take photos of yourself. The center area are a bit crowded. It's like an entrance to a castle with a red couch but Santa seemed to be on break that day. We decided to have our photo taken on the side of the display with the trees. Offspring loved the lights.

SM Megamall - 2010.12.17

We didn't get to take photos of the new developments in SM Megamall. The skating rink is no longer there for months. And a huge Toy Kingdom replaced the Bowling area. It's a kid's ultimate dreamworld and parents' worst wallet nightmare. Only proves that Christmas is all about the children's happiness.
